CERN environmental objectives
Environmental domains are followed-up by the HSE Unit in collaboration with the Departments concerned to mitigate and limit the impact of CERN’s activities on the environment. Concrete objectives spanning eight domains for the period up to 2030 were approved by the Enlarged Directorate in 2024 , as shown in the following figure:
