The CERN Nuclear Safeguards Policy
CERN, as an intergovernmental organization for fundamental research in particle physics, hereby establishes a Nuclear Safeguards Policy (“the Policy”).
In line with a longstanding practice of the Organization, this Policy is aimed to ensure non-proliferation and nuclear security, including the protection, control and accounting of nuclear materials situated on the CERN site.
