REMUS LS3 Upgrades for Performance and Advancements (LUPA)
The LUPA project will cover the HSE supervisory system necessary evolutions, based on user requirements gathered from the HSE Groups (see EDMS 3303678: “LUPA Project User Requirements”).
This project aims to integrate four new device types (defined in INEMIA III, EnNoMoS, and SGM projects) into REMUS, to upgrade, enhance, and advance REMUS to support LS3/RUN4 and the significant CROME device ramp-up, and to streamline new REMUS Web solutions.
LUPA aims to:
- Integrate four new device types into REMUS, as specified in the INEMIA III, EnNoMoS and SGM projects.
- Upgrade REMUS to enhance performance and stability, to support the anticipated massive increase of supervised CROME devices for LS3/RUN 4.
- Enhance REMUS Web to streamline a novel off-SCADA “light” supervision and implement admin tools for accelerated REMUS operation and maintenance.
- Drive significant advancements in REMUS by developing the modern CROME Evolution Driver based on the next-generation ROMULUS library, alongside a new
modern Template General Driver, by introducing the C++ WinCC OA API Managers to enhance system performance and by assessing new WinCC OA solutions for future adoption.
